Two days National Seminar cum exhibition on Organic Farming for all stakeholders

 
Implementing Agency : National & Regional Centre for Organic and Natural Farming (N/RCONF) in association with CAUs/SAUs/ICAR-Institutes etc.
Objectives : A mega event of two Days National Seminar cum Exhibition on Organic Farming is proposed at NCONF Ghaziabad. Wherein Technical Sessions along with the Farmer Scientist/ Interaction Session will also be there. In the program 50 Champion Farmer delegates as selected in the Regional Seminar will be invited, so that their success stories will be spread all over the country. Besides Experts on different Fields of Organic farming will be eminent personalities as Lead speakers in the program including ICAR/ SAU & KVK Scientists will share their views. The recommendations of the various Technical Committees will be taken and published. All the PGS-India Regional Councils; FPOs, FPCs will also be invited.
A separate session for Organic input scenario at National Level will also be there including interaction of Scientific community and organic & Biofertiliser Industry.
In the Exhibition the various PGS-India Certified Organic Produce will be displayed by the various PGS-India certified Groups including the certified organic products of MOVCDNER. Besides the various organic input producers will also invited to showcase their products in the exhibition. In the seminar the Best Organic Farmers of the Country will be facilitated with Citation; memento and Prize money.
To showcase the progress of activities of all partners & Stakeholders including Central & State Departments of Agriculture; Rural Development, farmers; FPOs etc. To bring together all stakeholders to deliberate on sustainable agricultural practices for making useful recommendations for policy formulation to motivate and sensitize farmers for practicing organic farming by providing basics and latest technical know-how and creating awareness on various aspects of soil health, sustainable production, PGS certification, value addition and marketing to enable them to easily adopt organic farming and increase their income.
 
Programme Duration : Two Days
No. of Participants :  200 nos. including the 50 Champion Farmer Delegates from all corners of country, as recommended by Regional Seminars representing all parts of the Country.
Eligibility for Participation : Participants will be invited from stakeholder from organic industry including nodal officers of State Agriculture and Horticulture departments, Scientists of CAUs/SAUs/ICAR-Institutes/KVKs, progressive/champion farmers, farmers, Master Trainers of Resource Agencies selected by INM, NRLM/SRLM women SHGs, members of RC, SPs working under PKVY, buyer representatives and other stakeholders etc
