Implementing Agency : National/Regional Centre for Organic and Natural Farming (N/RCONFs)
Objectives : To strengthen the Quality Control frame work of Biofertilizers& Organic Fertilisers notified under FCO1985. As the fertiliser inspectors are the key persons in the Quality Control framework of Biofertilizers & Organic Fertilisers notified under FCO1985 and facing various issues in the field. Therefore, it is very much essential to impart in-depth knowledge of regulatory framework for organic and biofertilizers covered under FCO 1985.
Programme Duration : one days’ duration training course
Eligibility for participation : 20 Fertilizer Inspectors of Central/State Govt. associated with the sampling of Biofertilizer/Organic fertilizer/NEDC etc as per FCO 1985 who have already attended 05 days training on FCO at N/RCONFs.
Course content :
- • Elaboration of regulatory framework for organic and biofertilizers as per FCO 1985 such as authorization and registration of dealers, conditions for grant and refusal of certificate etc.
- • Overview and amendments in Biofertilizers, Organic Fertilizers and Non Edible Deoiled Cake Fertilizers through latest Gazette notifications.
- • Protocols involved in the sampling of Biofertilizers, Organic fertilizers and Non Edible De -oiled Cake Fertilizers.
- • Protocols involved in the disposal of non-standard Biofertilizers, Organic fertilizers and Non Edible Deoiled Cake Fertilizers.
